02 nd April 2025 was another memorable day for the School & the Dharmasoka College Past Pupils’ Association – Colombo Branch Scholarship Trust. It was the day that 28 th Annual Scholarships Award Ceremony was held at the College Auditorium and witnessed by Principal, Deputy Principals, Teachers, Students, Donors, Recipient of Awards, Past Pupils, Executive Committee Members of Dharmasoka College Past Pupils’ Association & Trustees of the Dharmasoka College Past Pupils’ Association – Colombo Branch Scholarship Trust. On this occasion, 16 scholarships from Special fund, 02 scholarships from DCPPA- Colombo Branch, 08 scholarships from Ex-Co members of DCPPA- Colombo Branch & Well-wishers and 01 scholarship from General fund of the Trust, totalling 27 scholarships each worth of Rs 60,000 were awarded based on G.C.E. Advanced Level 2023 results & the evaluation done by the Scholarship Trust according to agreed criteria. 6 Merit Awards were awarded to students who received the following highest ‘Z” Score in each stream, in addition to general scholarships. Shavindi Donor -DCPPA – Colombo Branch Scholarship Trust Engineering Technology - Kariyawasam Masachchi -Oshadi Pabodya Odhani - Donor -DCPPA - Colombo Branch Scholarship Trust Biosystems Technology - Ambagaha Hewage Sanduni Madhusha - Donor - DCPPA - Colombo Branch Scholarship Trust Commerce - Kariyawasam Batuwaththa Gamage - Chayani Umandi - Donor - DCPPA - Colombo Branch Scholarship Trust Arts -Peduru Hewa Himasha Kavindi Donor - DCPPA - Colombo Branch Scholarship Trust Eng. Sudath De Silva delivered a speech on Carrier Guidance & DCPPA - Colombo Branch and donors offered their support & services to fulfil requirement of scholars’ education whenever necessary. We are grateful to all Donors & well-wishers who have contributed to Scholarship Fund to make this event successful.
