The DCPPA Colombo Branch is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of "Mudliyer Thomas De Silva Oration" held at the school auditorium on February 29th, 2024. Approximately 600 attendees, including Advanced Level students, teachers, past teachers, past pupils, and special invitees, participated at the event.

The keynote speech, titled "Embracing Humility - A Key to Effectiveness and Fulfillment," was delivered by distinguished past pupil Mr. Roshan Egodage, CEO of Commercial Credit PLC. Roshan eloquently presented the oration, receiving high praise from the engaged audience.

The proceedings of the event were skillfully compered by three talented students from the Media Society of School.

A highlight of the occasion was the impactful video presentation on the Late Thomas De Silva, the school's founder, and the initiator of the great journey of Dharmasoka College. Directed and scripted by Mr. Jagath De Silva, the video provided valuable insights and was well-received by the audience.

The President of DCPPA Air Vice Marshal Thilan De Silva (Retd) delivered the welcome speech, while the Chairman of the organizing Committee Air Vice Marshal Dilshan Wasage (Retd) introduced the Orator to the audience.

A memento was presented to Mr. Roshan Egodage by the DCPPA Colombo Branch to mark the occasion.

The entire event's photography coverage was skillfully undertaken by a dedicated team of students of the Photography Society of the School, adding an extra layer of student involvement and creativity to the memorable occasion.

The well-organized event concluded with refreshments, thanks to the efforts of the Chairman and sub-committee for a job well done.
